基本单元是构成PLC系统的核心部件，内有CPU、存储器、I/O模块、通信接口和扩展接口等。由于FX系列PLC有众多的子系列，现以FX0S，FX0N，FX2N" isAuto=1>FX2N三个子系列为例加以介绍。
nFX2N系列的基本单元
nFX2N系列是FX家族中最先进的PLC系列。
nFX2N基本单位有16/32/48/65/80/128点，六个基本FX2N单元中的每一个单元都可以通过I/O扩展单元扩充为256I/O点，其基本单元如表所示。
